What Is Carbon Black?

Carbon Black is a solid form resulting from reactions occurring at high temperatures.

Carbon Black pigment is a black pigment that is conventionally produced by the carbonization of organic materials.

Nearly all the black materials we see around contain Carbon Black (e.g. plastics, paints, rubbers, water filters, lead pencils, tires, ink, hoses, etc.).

95% of Carbon Black produced worldwide is used in the rubber industry. Apart from the rubber industry, it is used in the form of plastic, dyestuff, printing ink and adsorbent.
